Hamilton Island is located in the heart of the Great Barrier Reef. There is a reef in Catseye Bay where you can snorkel and see an amazing array of fish and sea creatures. There are a range of activities to satisfy the sporty adventurers to the romantics. You can bring your binoculars, laze on the Apartment balcony and gaze over Catseye Bay. For the more adventurous you can enjoy the many water activities on Catyseye Bay - directly below the apartment, sail around the Whitsunday Islands or any of the endless activities below. Wonder the paths and discover some lesser known Marsupials unique to Australia. Wallabies, Cockatoos' and Lorikeets frequent the Apartment Resort grounds and the surrounding bush is a wonderland of native animals and birds. Bush walking will take you off the beaten track. Take a 45min hike to Passage Peak - at the top of Hamilton Island and gaze over the Coral Sea to nearby Whitsunday Island. The starting point for these bush walks are directly behind the Apartment.
